Football or Soccer?

I love both! Grant is in 4th grade, playing tackle football and Cara is in 2nd grade, playing soccer. It's so neat how the sports get so much more exciting as they get older. When they were younger all of the moms sat on the sideline chatting away. Now---we don't have time to chat, we have to holler for their teams!

Cara is with the Tigers and every single game I paint her face like a tiger! This is of course to intimidate the opponents! (or at least distract them----check this photo out!) Isn't that hilarious?

Grant is hardcore football all the way. He's my little future NFL player (according to him). He originally said he would either be a Marine like his daddy or NFL.....okay which is worse? I would worry about him with either career field! I told him "Why can't you just do some kind of office job, nice and safe?" "Mom!! That's boring!". I tried........did I mention that he LOVES football?
Go Tigers! Go Vikings! I just wish the games weren't scheduled at the same time tomorrow! Mark will be at the football game while I'm at soccer. :( I want to see BOTH games!

Adoption Bug T-Shirt Fundraiser!

This is the other fundraiser that we are doing. It is through Show Hope. This organization has a very special place in our hearts because little Tian (Dang Tian Yi) was at Maria's Big House of Hope from age 6 months to 22 months and I know that they really took great care of him there! The t-shirts are so awesome and it's a great way to share the word about Show Hope. Of course Maria's BHOH was named after Steven Curtis Chapman's daughter who died tragically in an accident a few years ago. She was adopted from China, as were 2 of their other daughters.

We are doing our best to save as much money as possible, but since we only started this process in May 2011 we have no way of saving enough money in time before we travel. We will definitely be getting a loan but the more we can raise and save the less of a loan payment we will have. We know that God will provide, no matter what!

Fundraiser! Thanks, Stacy!!!

Wow, she's fast and she is SO talented! I love what she came up with once I told her some of my ideas for the necklace! http://jubileesjewels.com/adoption-fundraising/faith-hope-love-necklace

I think it's so beautiful!

We Continue to Wait!

We are still waiting for our LOA (Letter of Approval) for Tian, which should be followed by the LOA for Zach about a month later. Today makes 3 months and 10 days that we've been waiting and we were told 3-4 months so maybe this will be the week! I am getting a new care package together for both kiddos and will hopefully send those out this week! Praying daily that God prepares Tian and Zach's hearts for our arrival!
